FoH Officially Biggest EverQuest Guild EVER |
Posted by: Frybread on Friday, November 05, 2004 -
12:00 AM
-----The
Landmark-----
I just finished talking with an Everquest GM.
The biggest guild, in number of characters to ever play the game
"Everquest" on any server was Flowers of Happiness (pre
guildwipe of '02) on the Rallos Zek server.
Thank you to
everyone who made a character on RZ to spread happiness. You're a
part of the biggest guild in history.
 Screenshot of Greater Faydark,
Rallos Zek, 2002
-----The Media----- I was talking
to Inmabelli, one of the happiest flowers to play the game. If
you've been made happy by an FoH member for the small price of your
best piece of armor, there's a 1 in 10 chance Inmabelli was
responsible. He said to me, "You know why Blart is more
recognized than me? One word: Media"
Imagine that, the
Blart-run media favors Blart.
-----WoW I shit my
pants!-----
The release of World of Sadcraft grows nearer,
and Flowers of Happiness will be ready to make this virtual world
the HAPPIEST place in the world (virtual or not) the second it goes
live. If you believe people should be happy and you want to help,
check this page before making your character. It will let you know
what server we'll be on.
The Flowers in World of Warcraft
will be similar to the Flowers of old, with random inviting and
total acceptance of morons, disregard for anyone or anything that
could loosely be translated as sad, and the happiest guildchat that
has ever caused people to say, "/gu remove" several times per hour.

I don't usually use the frontpage for
politics, but this guy has gotten a bad rap lately, and I think
Americans are overlooking him.

Thanks to TMB for the idea.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
World of
Warcraft is currently free during a 7-day public stress test.
Flowers of Happiness, a group of miscreants who "role-play" elves,
dwarves, fairies and cattle will now be doing so on the internet.
World of Warcraft will be our new medium of expression for our
overwhelming and debilitating happiness.
Flowers of
Happiness has had close to 4,000 members since its inception in May
of 2000, several of them MMORPG pop-icons. Each of those 4,000
flowers is encouraged to come back to their roots for the game
"World of Warcraft", and help rid it of anything that doesn't spout
joy or children's TV show theme songs.
If you have happiness
in your heart or your little pee pee, join us!!!
Sign up for
the public beta here (you'll have to have a fileplanet account,
don't pay get the free one): http://www.fileplanet.com/betacenter/wow/stress_test/index_open.aspx
After
signing up, tell the flowers that you can't wait to role-play an orc
that hates high-school and thinks newbies suck in a fantasy
environment! https://www.notacult.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7565&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

Page: Discord
Server Movie |
Posted by: Frybread on Friday, May 28, 2004 - 09:03 PM
The most difficult EverQuest server ever
created was the short-lived Discord server. Fastinyoh of FoH on
Sullon Zek went there, and came out one of six winners.
To
understand how difficult the Discord server was, you have to know
the rules. If your character died for any reason at all, you lost
everything. Die to a train? Then you lose all your levels, items,
money and spells. Die because you went linkdead or your PC crashed?
It's all gone.
In addition to the severe death penalties,
there was also PvP. No level limits, no teams, no rules, no GMs,
just everyone versus everyone with total-item loot on death.
The server was incredibly hard. Most people did not make it
past level 10.
If you think players get a little too
attached to their characters on Rallos and Sullon, just imagine if
instead of losing XP or an item they lost everything. That's when
the real homophobia, RL death threats, anti-semitic comments, and
claims that everyone is a 14 y/o virgin start pouring in.
There was no official Flowers of Happiness chapter there,
which there should have been on reflection, but some of us still
played. I made it to level 13, had some of the greatest battles in
my gaming history, died and quit.
Fastinyoh kept going, and
won. This is his story: Fastinyoh's

Design Flaw in World of Warcraft |

"World of Warcraft allows thousands of
players to interact within the same world. Whether adventuring
together or fighting against each other in epic battles, players
will form friendships, forge alliances, and compete with enemies for
power and glory. "
How horrible! People interacting in
the same world with a lust for power and glory. Hello, BLIZZARD
IDIOTS, we already have a world like this and it makes me want to
shop at thrift stores and listen to Bright Eyes.
Virtual
fantasy worlds are supposed to be about happiness, otherwise you are
creating a world of despair. Without a happy virtual world,
how can we have a happy real world? A utopia must exist as an idea
before it can be realized, and virtual worlds are platforms for the
expression of ideas. Look around and you will see nobody wants
happiness.
Everquest, Eve, Star Wars, Neocron, and Quest for the
Crown all concentrate on struggle and power lust, but we can
change this horribleness at the root of the problem: the beta
stage.
Flowers, we must stop these "alliances" and
"enemies" from competing against one another. We must sign up for
the World of Warcraft beta, and begin utopia creation!

The
Fansy Movie |
Posted by: Danwith B Demented on Sunday, February 01,
2004 - 01:18 PM
There have been a lot of requests
for the old Fansy movie made by Snuggs, so we dug it up and posted
it here:
Lifestyles of
Everquest's Rich & Famous
USELESS FANSY FACTOID
#285: Snuggs (who played Pansie) came up with several good comebacks
which Fansy used liberally throughout his reign of goodness,
including but not limited to the flippant skittle reply. She also
sang songs to the evil team while Fansy trained them, such as Johnny
Cash's "Folsom Prison". She was also called gay.
