Toast, the best thing since sliced bread!

[edit] Let's Cook

[edit] Ingredients

  • Whatever kind of bread you like!!!

[edit] Directions

  1. Choose the kind of bread you wish to use. You can use just a regular white bread,or a specialty bread like rye, whole wheat, brown or french.
  2. Carefully put your slices of bread into the toaster.
  3. Choose what settings to use. Use a lower setting to start out with because some toasters tend to burn the toast easily.
  4. Plug in the toaster.
  5. Insert bread into slots of the toaster. Some toasters have more than two slots for many pieces of toast.
  6. Push down the toaster plunger to turn it on.
  7. Wearing an oven mitt, carefully remove the hot toast from the toaster after it pops up.
  8. Place the toast on a plate, remove your oven mitt and spread toast with butter, peanut butter, jam or whatever you prefer on one side.
  9. Slice in half, quarters, or leave whole.
  10. Unplug the toaster.
  11. Clean up your mess and put away the things you use. Enjoy!
  12. Make some more because it was so good.

[edit] Important Notes

  • Be careful with which setting you should use
  • If you burn the toast, you can still fix it. Take the flat side of a butter knife and scrape off the burnt crumbs; be sure to do this over a trash can, as this makes a mess. But if the whole bread is totally burnt, make another one
  • If you use butter, spread it on the bread as quickly as you can after the bread comes out of the toaster so the butter melts into the bread so it is easier to spread as the toast is still hot.
  • You can add sugary powder to create... POWDERED TOAST, MAN!
