[edit] Background

Honey mustard is a mustard-based condiment that is most often used as a dip for finger foods, a salad dressing, or as a glaze or marinade for meat. Unlike many other varieties of mustard, honey mustard derives its name from the combination of flavors rather than from the growing location or variation of the mustard plant used as the main ingredient.

If you don't have all those ingredients and just want a single serving, use this recipe.

  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoons classic yellow mustard
  • pinch of pepper and parsley flakes (optional)
  • squirt of ketchup to taste (optional, this helps substitute the vinegar and the 57 sauce)
