NBA 2K9 NOT NBA LIVE
NBA 2k9 is being produced by 2K Sports, NOT EA Sports. There is a huge difference between the two.
This game is being hyped up by Geandily who thinks its gonna be super good. It is the first game released in the United States to include full 5 on 5 basketball where each player is controlled by an actual person, a landmark feature that is sure to change the face of gaming.
- Here's a "confirmed" roster of people that are going to be playing the X-BOX 360 version that is slated for release October 7th. OR POSSIBLY THE PC VERSION!! AHHH THERES A PC VERSION

Why A Sports Game?
Because you don't have to be an elf to have fun!
Geandily claims that this could be the ultimate "FoH" game despite it being a sports title. The reasons he stated are:
1. Rating system. The ability to take points from people upon beating them, these points are used to buy in-game "extras", different dunk & shot animations and what he described as "little trophies and icons and other pointless bullshit things that sports gamers love..."
2. Smacktalking. Something that FoH hasn't been able to fully exploit what with being limited to crossteam smacktalking in WoW and the biggest limitation of all: text. NBA 2k9 will have both text and voicechat smacktalk between teams.
3. Ganking. A fluid, practiced team of FoH players will dominate any team that isn't premade. Worried that you'll lose us a game if you never play? Don't be! We can use a team that is topheavy and have you play for us as a roleplayer, in your small but focused job you will help the team but not have as much responsibility. Because you play a more specialized role it will give our better players even more power and freedom.
4. Time investment. FoH is full of true casual gamers, no, by casual I don't mean those freaky nerds that sit around Orgrimmar all day talking about politics. No, I mean people that honestly do not have the time to play a game 7 hours a day. Because NBA 2k9 is a purely skill based game the only thing you get out of time investment is more skill from the practice and more fluff bullshit.
5. A large community of literal 9 year olds and retarded sportsgamers. From idiot fratboys to 40 year old dudes like Gnomie, these people are not accustomed to being screwed with.
