basically a guild in diablo is like an irl gang

we share all our gear with each other and power level each others chars but u gotta be pulling ur own weight or u get jumped out

also its nice to have homies there on call to play with

it would be a nice arrangement

(also there will be arena pvp after release and it will be rated... so we can focus our efforts on flying the FoH banner in that)

So I logged in yesterday. Looking at my friends list, i see that half of my FoH brethren haven't logged in for over a week. The other half, over 2 weeks inactive. One or two haven't logged in for a month. I can't recall when my last login was, but I think it's been well over 3 weeks.
I find myself busier these days; between work, yoga classes, weight lifting, cooking for myself, and not getting laid, I have a legitimate excuse for not playing. Even so, I feel like if the game wasn't boring as Shit! I'd manage to play a little here and there. Yesterday, I didn't even bother finding the next waypoint before exiting the game. I was that bored of running around, mindlessly killing shit. I haven't even beaten the game in normal mode. I simply can't force myself to look at the screen long enough. This was more than the typical FOH "HEY! Let's all play this game for a week and then go back to not talking on the forums!"
I'm not one to say I've quit permanently. There's no need to label oneself. I may muster up some desire to at least finish this game in the future. Now's not the time, though.
Where is everyone else's feelings on this game? What's the reason for your own drop off?

too much optimism for the game

I really didn't believe that it would have been what it is

-no gear hunt
-unfun elite mobs, just make you do corpse runs or perma kite
-melee chars have to build tank and play with ranged chars, a la WoW

Aside from the fact that I can't play a game that is almost 100% right-click/left-click (because of my carpal tunnel), this game just didn't grab me at all.

I'm still amazed at how long it took them to come up with this.
