if they have a druid with thorns outside the group and he heals /thorns a bard that just damge auras runs through unrest and trains and just heal him as the mobs kill themselves on thorns wont take long at all to power level.
the entire group can be afk and soak :P

I will be around tonight, but I have a big project due tomorrow, so I'm not sure how long I can play for. I got bored after everyone logged the other night and did some solo xp grinding. I can't believe I remember how to solo a spectre! I was holding down 4 spawns /flex

We will be creating level 1 gnomes. Name scheme being considered. We will attempt the level 1 crushbone raid!

all of us get to level 4 and then buy pets and then massacre all monsters we find.
I like the gnome mage idea. I can front the cash for 10 lvl 4 pet spells.

Yes Troll SK's have the worst experience penalty in the game. Nearly half of the experience other races / classes get.
Gean is not the only cleric. There's Iddy who's almost 14 and Fastinyoh who is near 20.
We have about the same number of Necros. The guild could really use tanks/DPS/Enchanter
Its like in eq you wont be satisfied til you get that fbss

If we gonna PvP then an SK is hella better than a War if this servers truly classic.
I played classic EQemu servers back when they all had a population of like 10 people, so I would be a fool not to play one with hundreds. How long has this server been going? And what have they done so right compared to other classic servers that so many people are playing? I never thought I would see this sort of server become popular.
Also, would it be helpful if I played a wizard?
The server has been up for quite some time. A year? They have put WAY too much time and effort into recreating classic EQ. They took the titan package thingy, and de-expansioned it back to original eq world. It isn't exactly correct, there are zone maps for a few of the newb zones, etc. They had out of character chat global for a little while.. There are a couple of things that aren't classic, but they did a real good job for the most part. They are following progression pretty closely also. They nerfed stuff at the same rate that SOE nerfed stuff (manastone for example). They even keep changing xp penalties and what not the same way SOE originally did it back in 1999.
Wizards are never helpful... are they? Play whatever you want.

Server's been up for 1 year and 3 months. Almost always. There was a short 2-week "Time out" for when some raged hacker-player was attacking the server. They raised funds and bought a DDoS-resistant server.
I made my Druid within the first 2 hours of the server being up on October 2nd, 2009. The highest character at that time was 3. It started with about 200-300 and consistently rose. I just recently dinged 50 (for the first time!) in Nov 2010.
Sounds like a pretty healthy server, too bad I didn't play it when it was new. Just got tired of spending time on servers that flopped, you know? May as well give it a shot now, must be lots of people rolling tonnes of alts to keep the server feeling fresh.
1 year and 3 months is a long time to go without an expansion, is Kunark planned anytime soon?

I remember wizards being quite rare on Live, all the more reason to play one. Being able to port to different places is also nice when nostalgia is the whole point. I'm not sure if I have enough patience left in me for routine corpse runs. also, pew pew.

almost made thread but imma let someone else make it. wow, p999 almost banned 365 accounts for hacking but decided to just remove % of exp equal to their level and strip all coin because they didnt want such a hit to the community. they should have just banned them
