Update: Apparently the Play button is now only available for a limited time, meaning you have to watch the screen for two hours to play.
I'm told that if you enable the "Finished Queuing" music in the options you can just turn up your speakers to hear when you get in. Testing this.

also icepaxx had the AMAZING idea or using a macro to keep clicking the play button because it does nothing unless it lights up!

CONFIRMED. I just changed my plans for after work because I had the game queueing since after lunch. I didn't get to play yesterday because the damn server was down the entire evening. So I get home and have been booted out of the queue. Thanks a kissing lot you kissing faggot company! I was willing to change my plans to get a chance to play a few hours, but I certainly had better things to do than not play.
This is seriously the last straw. The only thing keeping me from canceling my account was the fact I could queue in advance and it wasn't a big deal so long as my play times were predictable. What the kiss am I supposed to do now? Actually sit and wait for 2 hours so that I can play for one hour?
I have been waiting for this game like 2.5 years now, I seriously hope they reduce the queue time before I have to pay any monthly fee. I don't want to have to quit this game over something so entirely stupid as this, but I will if I get kissed around any more.

I really do hope so. But ever since launch it has been server up, server down, sync issue server down!, okay we fixed sync issues, sync issues back, ok we fixed sync issues but now you have to physically sit infront of your screen and wait 2 hours before you can play!
I'm not trying to be a whiney fag all like "i'm a paying customer blah blah blah". Sure I paid good money for a game that I don't get to play about 50% of the time. Fine. But I really like this game, and thats why I am so raged. If it were any other game I would just accept that I wasted $65 .I just want to kissing play already, whenever I feel like.
I guess what I am trying to say is ... will there always be some issue that is going to be fixed "soon"? If so, when do I just cut my losses?
I think I will cancel my account in the next few days. I am a casual player therefore I can never play due to queue times.
Also, the only people who actually do play right now are hardcore macroers who are ready to click 'play' the second they can, so they can go back to being afk macroers taking up server space so no actual people can play. This also includes most flowers.
I am thinking something similar. At least temporarily until the game is fixed, but in the last half week I have been lucky if I could even get on for an hour or two and even then all I could do was gather because the mobs were so out of sync.
Indeed, I am only going to enjoy this game when there is a large amount of noobs playing. I dont want to macro for 16 hours a day.
I just want to log on and gank some random players. There are just to few people on at the moment who actually play.
The skill based leveling process in this game is killing it, people clog up the server to macro

I did twice now (had to relog and switch sound from speaker to headphones to use mic and sound doesn't doesn't work thoguht the phones if I have a game already going) so don't quit Lemon!
Playing this game solo is still really really pointless though. There really isn't anything you can do solo other than gank people PvEing, which I don't have the patience for. Must be remedied! =0
pve solo is okay sometimes, but exploring is amazing solo. do sum o dat!
Hurray! After several nights of waiting to play I get ganked trying to farm spell reagents, then when I go back to gank a guy with a nice polearm he triumphantly logs out at low health to avoid the kill! I'm very glad that Aventurine decided to launch a finished product!

I can kill one mob then have to wait 1 or 2 min to Rest up (wait is this EQ?). Thats my best case scenario ...

The seever will DC you now if you go afk unactive (as in not macroing) after a certain period of time.

Last 2 nights Queue times were about 5min during NA evening. Right now I am satisfied because they fixed the few major issues that raged me. I hope things keep going the way they are. But overall their track record still isn't that great. But for the time being I have nothing to really complain about (I'm a whiner).
I had plenty of fun last night in our 3 man cavalry squad! So as of right now I definitely plan to subscribe for next month as well.
How do you cope with being the only Alfar? Is it easier now that you are bound at Grief?
I kindof feel double screwed because it is going to take me a few more days before I can even cast anything useful. All the harvesting and trading for regents isn't nearly as feasible outside of a racial starting area, so despite all the trips I've taken, I'm hesitant to bind out there. I'll have the basics of Elemental and Spell Chanting sometime this weekend. I hope that'll be enough to be useful.
I'm telling frends who want to play to go ork and go melee no matter what. Does anyone know if the store is still selling copies daily? I'd like to pick up a second.
the store hasnt had a copy for sale in over a week now...like since last tuesday or monday. they also dont have any messages about when they will ever sell a copy again =(
