P.S. What do you think the chances are that we are the longest running guild in the game? I would say pretty good! The reason: STFU K THX LA~ HAHAHAHAHAHA (I remember when i wanted to pound Anubists brain in the ground for saying that so much, but it has grown on me and I will pay him homage as the FoH Einstein! In fact just last week at a bar I told a waitress who overcharged me while I was in a drunken state STFU K THX NOOB!)



We don't have politics, its wonderful. Anyone of us could go nuts and start guild removing peeps, then in 5 minutes everyone would have their occifer on and all would be well, or we could have someone say "I dont like this guild anym" and before anymore was even spelled someone would shoot them the old /guildremove wave!

Now I know why they broke up right after the Montreal gathering. Some things should remain anonymous. They broke the sanctity of pixelhood and got together in RL.

Undoubtably some of them reflected on the situation and said to themselves "Jesus kissing chist I'm a geek! I'm among the nerdiest of nerds and not only that, I'm collaborating with a whole shitload of grade A geeks in a virtual world for the majority of my waking hours."

This is when Altered Destiny had its internal squabble.

I don't know if I'll be able to attend one of those fan faires. I get the heebie jeebies looking at some of those pics.

Snuggs, during that last fan faire, didn't you at some point go back to your room and just laugh histerically for about 5 minutes? I know I would.

I'm not saying by any means that these people would be better out living in a different way, or living like I do for that matter, its just really funny to see this type of stuff.

These are not the type of people I associate with in RL. Most geeks I meet have this defense mechanism up all the time and they cop an attitude with you right off the bat. Either that or they have the social skills of a pine cone.

I get jokingly called a geek by my friends all the time, but I have very few, if any, geek friends.

What kind of people do you guys hang out with?

Ummm, imho I think everyone who has posted on this thread is old enough to know better than to do the "HAHA look at him he is a nerd" routine. Thats kinda sad. If by this point in your lives you haven't learned not to judge (too deeply, cuz god knows appearances do make impressions) PURELY from appearances then you need to go back to kindergarten and start over. I personally think it would be cool for the flowers to get together in real life. I think this crowd probably has more social skills than any other guild on the server because we LIKE drawing attention. Well that, and I would love a live performance of Booga playing his guitar naked after a case of beer.



I'll post a pic of myself sometime, and the first thoughts that will pop into your head is "OMG he is a big fat giant biker who would kick my ass if I looked at him funny, PHEAR HIM!".



And then you would miss the laid back, helpful yet protective, extremely outgoing side of me. I am rather LARGE and love to dance, but you wouldn't know that either. I really don't like hard liquor, but you would probably think I did. You would probably think that I spend my weekends sitting around watching sports on the couch with my hand in pants pulling off an Al Bundy look, but actually I really don't like watching sports on TV and prefer to spend my weekends flying single engine airplanes trying to get enough hours in to gain my next rating on my pilots license. Or perhaps if i'm bummed you may even find me reading my copy of the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe. Or I may be in the country with my buddy killing animals and chopping wood, all the while with a walkman on listening to enya. Nothin sweeter than smoking bambi at dawn with Enya's-March of the Celts on the old walkman.



In fact, on the same note, when I started at pizza hut (god I feel like such a loser when I say I work at pizza hut, but I guess its ok if your trying to become a doctor LA~) and i had to fill out this ghey workbook thing, and it had 6 pictures, and 6 professions. You had to match them up from what your instincts told you. Well I made the half bald middle age guy the ceo of Tricon (parent company of pizza hut) and this old black dood a janitor. Well low and behold, I had them ass backwards. Try to be a bit more open.

I've always thought Flowers was made up of more "freaks" than "geeks".

I still do the point the finger and laugh routine and I hope people do the same to me. Its not mean if you just see people as funny because they're different. I never look down on someone, demean them, or make fun because I think they should live their lives any differently or think mine is any better.
